Eine zeitlang saß er schon an der gleichen Stelle und hinderte sich daran, die Namen zu lesen oder auch nur hinzuschauen.
Gerz's photo/texts convey to us the busyness of everyday life. The fragmented photographs and unfinished texts hold back on purpose from imposing any "truth" or clear cut answers. Like life, they contain a certain doubt for the viewer who must play a game of personal introspection.
